According to the investigation, Russian officials repeatedly handed over reconnaissance drones, thermal imagers, night vision devices, EW devices, anti-drone guns, walkie-talkies, trucks, as well as military uniforms and various ammunition to the command of the occupying forces of the Russian Federation.
The occupiers used material means in Donetsk region and Slobozhan region during the execution of combat missions against the Armed Forces of Ukraine, with the aim of forcibly changing the borders of the territory and the state border of Ukraine.
In addition, officials appointed additional payments of up to 500,000 rubles to Russians who signed a contract with the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, thus encouraging the citizens of the Russian Federation to participate in an aggressive war and to increase the recruitment of occupying battalions with recruits.
On the basis of the collected evidence, three high-ranking officials of the Russian Federation were notified in absentia of the suspicion of committing a crime, provided for in Part 3 Art. 110-2 (financing of actions committed for the purpose of violent change or overthrow of the constitutional order or seizure of state power, change of territory or state border of Ukraine) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
In addition, the issue of applying additional personal special economic and other restrictive measures to the suspects is currently being resolved.
Previously, SBU employees in the Chernivtsi region collected the evidence base and informed the governor of the Bryansk region of the Russian Federation about the suspicion in absentia. He is accused of supplying the Russian military with weapons to kill Ukrainians.
Also in Ukraine, the governor of the Pskov region of the Russian Federation, who supplies equipment and weapons to the Armed Forces of Russia, was informed in absentia about the suspicion.
