The scandalous house that belonged to the former minister of internal affairs during the Yanukovych era, Vitaly Zakharchenko, and where Herman Galushchenko, a figure in the Mindich films, lived, was left without anyone willing to manage it.
The Minister of Economy Oleksiy Sobolev said that the object was put up for tender only in September 2025, because before that it did not arouse any interest. For a long time, the asset could not be found at tenders.
Currently, the building remains under the management of the Asset Management and Investigation Agency (ARMA). After the recent revelations of the scale of corruption in which Galushchenko was involved, it became known that his stay in this apartment aroused suspicion.
“Regarding this building, no one put it up for tender anywhere for a long time, and the new acting chairman (ARMA – ed.) put it on Prozorro to look for a manager literally in September, and no one came. Before that, the object was not put up,” he explained.
It is reported that the former head of ARMA could be related to businessman Timur Mindich, on whose instructions this asset may have been transferred for use. It is noted that this case testifies to possible violations in the distribution of state assets in the context of corruption schemes.
Herman Galushchenko is a minister who will be remembered as closely associated with one of the most high-profile corruption scandals during the full-scale invasion. And although Timur Mindych, the co-owner of the Kvartal-95 studio, is the main figure in the “Midas” operation, it was Galushchenko, according to the group of prosecutors, who “facilitated Mindych’s control over financial flows in the energy sector of Ukraine.”

“Scheme” journalists reported the names of all those involved in the “Midas” operation who received suspicion from NABU. There are eight of them. As of now, five people from the list of suspects have been detained. Two of them – Timur Mindych and Oleksandr Zukerman – left Ukraine.

Its participants critters a large-scale corruption scheme influencing the activities of strategic public sector enterprises, in particular JSC NAEK Energoatom.
Operation Midas: NABU and SAP reported the suspicion to former Deputy Prime Minister Chernyshov.
Suspicions were announced to seven persons involved in the corruption case in the energy sector.
