The Security Service of Ukraine exposed the next group of Russian agents who corrected the strikes of artillery and drones on defenders on the Right Bank of Kherson region.
A 65-year-old resident was detained in the regional center who was waiting for the occupation of the region.
His task was to identify warehouses with weapons and ammunition, the place of base of Ukrainian troops and UAV units. To do this, he moved his own car, recorded potential objects and tracked the movement of military echelons.
He conveyed the collected data to a acquaintance from the Skadovsky district, which after the occupation went on cooperation with the FSB and played the role of a group resident, remotely recruiting new agents.
Five mobile phones were discovered during a search of the detainee. He was suspected of treason (Part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code). The court took custody without the right of bail – he was threatened with life imprisonment with confiscation of property.
The SBU also prepares a correspondence report of a suspicion of a resident who is currently hiding on the occupied Left Bank.
