The SBU disrupted another attempt by the Russian special services to carry out a terrorist attack in the western regions of Ukraine, delaying two Russian agents in Lviv, who prepared a car warrior of the Defense Forces.
According to the SBU, both those involved were detained “on hot” when they laid a homemade explosive device disguised into a sports bag, under the car of the Ukrainian defender. The occupiers were therefore planned to remove the car remotely by calling one of the phones connected to the explosive.
According to the SBU investigators, the SVP was equipped with 4.5 kg of explosive and additional affected elements – nuts.
According to the case file, the order of the Russian Federation was performed by two residents of Transcarpathia aged 22 and 23 years, who were in the field of view of the invaders in the search for “light money” on telegrams.
After remote recruitment, agents arrived in Lviv, took out an explosive from a shroud and conducted an intelligence near the car of a Ukrainian warrior.
Then, opposite the parking location, they installed a telephone camera with remote access function for the occupiers. In this way, Russian special services wanted to fix the consequences of the planned terrorist attack.
But the SBU’s cyberfactors exposed traitors in advance, neutralized the SVP and the observation chamber and thus prevented the terrorist attack.
Investigators of the Security Service reported to agents about suspicion under Part 2 of Art. 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (State betrayal committed in the conditions of martial law). The attackers are in custody. They are threatened with life imprisonment with confiscation of property.
The SBU also prevented the terrorist attack, delaying the Russian agent in Kryvyi Rih. He was custom -made for the FSB near the local shopping center and had to die himself.
We will remind, the SBU classified the explosion in a police building in Odesa region March 23 as an attempt at a terrorist attack.
