The Security Service of Ukraine and the National Police detained a collaborator who in 2022 headed the occupation “police of the Russian Federation” in Nova Kakhovka in Kherson region.
After his release from office “in April 2022, he hid abroad for a long time, and at the end of 2024 returned to Ukraine, where he settled in the Volyn region, leasing housing from a local resident. He was detained there by Ukrainian law enforcement officers.
According to the investigation, the detained is the former guardian of a private security company in Nova Kakhovka, who, after seizing the city, agreed to head the local occupation “police”. He participated in the persecution of pro -Ukrainian activists, organized patrols on the streets of the city and raids on the participants of the resistance movement.
The attacker is currently in custody. He is charged with collaborative activity, unlawful imprisonment or the kidnapping committed by an organized group. He is threatened with life imprisonment with confiscation of property.
Earlier, the Security Service neutralized the FSB agent group, which, on the task of the Russian Federation, was in the Kiev, Kharkiv and Lviv regions. The attackers corrected rocket attacks by the racists in the locations of the defense forces.
