The Security Service of Ukraine exposed and detained the FSB agent, who collected data for massive rocket-arable attacks of the Russian Federation in Kiev. As it turned out, he was a 17-year-old graduate of one of the capital’s schools, whom the enemy recruited through the pro-Russian Telegram channels under the cover of “earnings”.
The task of the young man was to reconnaissance objects that were of interest to the army of the Russian Federation: he received the coordinates of potential goals and had to evaluate their technical condition. Among them are energy infrastructure, defense forces and air defense facilities in the capital region.
SBU staff detained the attacker near one of the military departments of the Armed Forces when he collected materials for the next “report”. With him he had a phone on which he recorded the objects indicated by the Russian curator.
He was already informed of suspicion under Part 2 of Art. 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine is a state betrayal committed in the conditions of martial law. The detained is now in custody. In case of guilt, he is threatened with life imprisonment with confiscation of property.
