According to the information of the special service, two deputy heads of one of the district administrations were exposed in the city, who in work conversations praised Vladimir Putin and agitated colleagues for the capitulation of Ukraine. They also distributed propaganda materials to acquaintances calling for the complete capture of the South.
SBU counter-intelligence detained a 52-year-old citizen of the Russian Federation who lived in the border area of the Kharkiv region. In communication with local residents, she called for the occupation of the region and justified Russia’s war crimes.
In the Poltava region, SBU officers detained a 38-year-old man who was hiding from mobilization and managed a telegram channel with pro-Russian content. He urged the audience to “donate” to the Russian army by posting links to electronic accounts of Russian banks copied from hostile Internet communities.
All those involved were notified of suspicions under articles related to encroachment on the territorial integrity of Ukraine, aiding in the financing of the seizure of power, violation of the equality of citizens and denial of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation.
Violators face up to 8 years in prison with confiscation of property.
