Oleg Beslyk is a former employee of the disbanded militia. Military intelligence of the Russian Federation recruited the traitor through his former classmate – an official of the Ministry of Defense of Russia. The plans for the agent of the occupiers were Napoleonic. Initially, he was supposed to direct missiles and bombs at Zaporizhzhia, namely at alleged factories for the production of ammunition, the SBU reported.

Another task of the agent was to search for anti-aircraft missile complexes and radar stations so that the Russians could launch missiles to bypass Ukrainian air defense. In the future, he was supposed to get a job at one of the defense plants to merge data on warehouses with weapons and ammunition.

The SBU worked ahead of time and detained the agent in January 2024. According to the Service, the traitor was sentenced to 15 years.
