The 64-year-old resident of Makiivka has been working for the Russians since 2014. She agreed to their offer to head the kindergarten.
SBU employees detained the collaborator when she came to the capital of Ukraine to issue a foreign passport for further travel to EU countries.
As the investigation established, after being appointed to the “position”, the defendant began to introduce the “educational standards” of the Russian Federation into the kindergarten.
Among other things, during parents’ meetings, she held campaign talks and encouraged parents to cooperate with the invaders.
The collaborator also distributed propaganda literature and campaign materials with pro-Kremlin themes in the kindergarten.
The detainee was informed of the suspicion under Part 3 of Art. 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (collaborative activity, implementation of propaganda in educational institutions regardless of the types and forms of ownership with the aim of facilitating the implementation of armed aggression against Ukraine).
An investigation is ongoing to establish all the circumstances of the crime. The perpetrator faces prison terms.
