The National Anti -Corruption Bureau of Ukraine reported that the SBU is conducting investigative actions in its former detectives. This may indicate increased pressure on anti -corruption organs.

“The National Bureau informs that today the SBU is conducting investigative actions in the former detectives of the National Bureau (currently current employees of Ukrzaliznytsia),” the statement reads.
NABU noted that the SBU’s actions are probably related to the previous activity of detectives over investigations in investigative groups that exposed organized crime groups at state -owned enterprises and state bodies, including the SBU.
“Such actions may indicate increased systemic pressure on the independence of anti -corruption institutions,” the department added.
Recently, NABU Detective Ruslan Magamedrasulov, who had previously detained the SBU on suspicion of aiding and abit reported also suspicion in receiving a bribe.
Earlier, the court was taken into custody by NABU Detectives Magamedrasulov.
The SBU also denies that the arrest of NABU Magamedrasulov’s employee is custom.
