“The SBU classifies an explosion in a police building in Odesa region March 23 as an attempt at a terrorist attack and has already opened the corresponding criminal proceedings,” the post reads.
According to the investigation, the explosion came at about 6:00 pm after a woman with a package entered the police department, which, according to preliminary data, could be an explosive. In particular, it is known that the woman died immediately.
“Three police received only minor injuries. They were provided with medical care, ”the Security Service of Ukraine noted.
The SBU investigators are currently conducting an inspection of the scene. In addition, the Security Service and the National Police are carrying out measures to establish all the circumstances of the explosion and the persons involved in this.
