The State Bureau of Investigation submitted to the National Anti-Corruption Bureau the statement of People’s Deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak regarding possible abuses in the field of energy by the former minister Herman Galushchenko.

The statement states that during the performance of official duties, the ex-minister could have committed violations during the conclusion and execution of contracts. In particular, we are talking about advance payments of state enterprises for significant amounts, for which the works were either not completed in full or were not documented.
Since the NABU is already conducting an investigation into these same facts, and the SBI conducted an inspection in the relevant direction back in 2021, the materials were transferred to the NABU after the permission of the Prosecutor General’s Office.
The agency emphasized that the SBI is interested in quickly establishing all the circumstances, but the anti-corruption bureau is responsible for such proceedings. At the same time, the SBI declared its readiness to provide the necessary assistance within the limits of the law.
Herman Galushchenko is a minister who will be remembered as closely associated with one of the most high-profile corruption scandals during the full-scale invasion. And although Timur Mindych, the co-owner of the Kvartal-95 studio, is the main figure in the “Midas” operation, it was Galushchenko, according to the group of prosecutors, who “facilitated Mindych’s control over financial flows in the energy sector of Ukraine.”
The scandalous house of Galushchenko was left without anyone willing to manage it.
