The State Bureau of Investigation announced an internal review of employees who had access to the materials of one of the criminal proceedings. The reason was the dissemination in a number of media of private pictures of the person appearing in the Bureau’s case.
The press service of the SBI reported that any disclosure or transfer of confidential information obtained during the investigation is inadmissible.

The bureau will “thoroughly review all employees who had contact with this evidence” to determine whether they may have been the source of the leak. The agency emphasizes that the leak of classified materials undermines trust in the entire justice system.
The SBI noted that if the employees involved in the incident are identified, “tough response measures” will be taken, ranging from disciplinary sanctions to criminal liability.
Investigators are now analyzing all stages of the material’s passage to determine the moment when the information could have become publicly available.
It will be recalled that Shabunin accused the SBI and the Prosecutor General’s Office of “leaking” his personal photos.
Shabunin also accused Zelensky of taking steps towards “corrupt authoritarianism.”
