The State Bureau of Investigation systematically exposes persons who betrayed Ukraine or cooperated with the enemy during the war.
SBI investigators collect evidence, interrogate witnesses and submit materials to the court, the agency’s press service reports.
Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Russia, the Bureau has investigated 2,890 criminal proceedings for crimes against the national security of the state, including:

1,926 proceedings — on the facts of treason;
-
757 proceedings — for collaborative activity;
-
52 proceedings — for assistance to the aggressor state and others.
As of the beginning of 2026:
-
1,639 persons were notified of suspicion;
-
528 persons were declared wanted;
-
1,349 people are being investigated for involvement in treason and collaborationism;
-
1,377 indictments were sent to court
Earlier, the State Bureau of Investigation announced the completion of the pre-trial investigation into frauds involving payments to military personnel in Zaporizhzhia. The indictment has already been submitted to the court.
