The Russian military began to equip gerber drones with battle units, although earlier these drones were used only to distract the Ukrainian air defense. About it reports Defense Express.
The publication was paid to a warning published by specialist Sergei Flesh Beskrestnov. According to him, the drone can carry different combat parts weighing up to 5 kg. He also published a photo showing that a fragmentary and foot charge weighing 2.5 kg was installed in the gerbera. Such a combat part is placed in the nasal of the drone.
According to Defense Express, during the presentation of this drone in July last year, Russian developers showed that it can be equipped with a combat unit and used as a barrapping ammunition. The Russian Federation also planned to equip the drone with a camera and a communication system.
In the simplified version of the drone Herbert can act like Shahaneda, striking the goals according to the given coordinates, the publication writes. There is also a risk that the Russian Federation can equip combat units for self -liquidation after a certain time or under other conditions.
Because of this, self -study of the fragments of such a drone can be dangerous. Since gerbera has simple and cheap electronics with low accuracy, Russians can use these drones to strikes in cities where the exact coordinates are irrelevant to them.
In November 2024, the MOU General Directorate reported that Russia was massively using the Drones of Herbera against Ukraine, which are able to carry the combat part and carry out radio electronic intelligence. UAV has a Chinese engine and other foreign parts.
Intelligence also noted that about half of Russia launched in Ukraine-false-goals that mimic the cheeds and distract the Ukrainian air defense. Among them is a UAV parody, which also has foreign components.
