The Russian leak of the alleged launch of a Kinzhal missile from a Su-34 bomber revealed an unexpected problem of the occupiers, which may indicate a lack of pilots for strikes on Ukraine. This was reported by Defense Express.

On Monday, January 13, Russian propaganda media did launch of the Kinzhal aeroballistic missile not from the traditional MiG-31K carrier, but from the Su-34 front-line bomber. The primary source was the publication of the publication of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation Krasnaya zvezda.

The Russian Federation has not made an official statement, but there is a sign in the Patriot propaganda park that claims that “the crew under the command of Colonel Maksym Stefanov” allegedly used the Dagger missile from the Su-34 aircraft in combat conditions for the first time.

The publication tells about a colonel who has 20 years of experience as a test pilot. The Russians say he is the deputy chief of one of the divisions of the 929th Flight Training Center at the Akhtubinsk airfield. Su-57 aircraft are located there, one of which was damaged in June 2024.

Defense Express analysts noted that Maksym Stefanov’s position involves theoretical work, not participation in combat operations. However, the publication says that he made combat sorties, in particular on Su-35 and Su-34 aircraft, and allegedly hit targets on the territory of Ukraine.

That is, instead of “propaganda success”, the Rashists showed something else – they have such a big problem with pilots that even experienced test pilots have to be used in the war against Ukraine,” writes Defense Express.

Also, it is not clear why if the Russians succeeded in launching a Kinzhal missile from the Su-34M, they could not do it again.
