According to the deputy permanent representative of the US to the UN, Robert Wood, Russia will not be able to continue the war against Ukraine without the support of North Korea, Iran and China.

“We know that Russia is suffering extraordinary losses on the battlefield thanks to the bravery and efficiency of the Ukrainian military,” Wood said during a speech at a meeting of the UN Security Council.
The Permanent Representative of the United States to the United Nations recalled reports of the transfer of North Korean troops to Russia. According to him, this means that “Russia will not be able to continue aggression without external support.” He also noted that the war would end if Iran and North Korea cut off military aid and China cut off supplies of dual-purpose goods and components.
Wood also noted that Russia’s partnership with North Korea, Iran, and China increases threats to peace and security not only in Ukraine, but also in Europe, the Indo-Pacific region, the Middle East, and Africa.
Sending North Korean soldiers to war against Ukraine is the main thing
On October 18, the Center for Strategic Communications and Information Security published a video showing North Korean soldiers being equipped with Russian equipment.
The Center noted that the received video is no more than 72 hours old. The action takes place at the Serhiyiv training ground in the Far East of the Russian Federation.
Earlier, social networks appeared, probably the first evidence of the presence of North Korean soldiers in the Russian Federation, who are preparing to be transferred to Ukraine.
According to NV sources in the Defense Forces, the aggressor country of the Russian Federation is training about 11,000 soldiers from the DPRK to participate in the war against Ukraine at four Russian training grounds.
On October 18, the head of the Main Directorate of Intelligence, Kyrylo Budanov, said that almost 11,000 North Korean soldiers are currently training in eastern Russia to fight against Ukraine.
Also on this day, the intelligence of South Korea announced that the DPRK decided to send 12,000 soldiers, including a special purpose unit, to the war against Ukraine.
On October 20, the head of the Center for Countering Disinformation under the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine reported that the satellite recorded the movement of thousands of North Korean troops into Russian territory.
On October 21, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte announced that “the sending of troops by North Korea to participate in hostilities on the side of Russia in Ukraine would mean a significant escalation.”
