The Kyiv City Prosecutor’s Office notified the deputy head of one of the offices of the “Kyivzelenbud” municipal corporation of suspicion of official negligence. According to the investigation, as a result of his actions during the repair and improvement of the park on the Dnipro Embankment, more than 550 thousand hryvnias were overpaid.
The actions of the official are qualified under Part 2 of Art. 367 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The investigation established that in March 2023, “Kyivzelenbud” concluded a contract with a private company for the major repair of the park in the area of Berkovshchyna Bay in the Darnytskyi district of the capital.
Kyiv will spend half a billion to repair a road with a length of less than 2 kilometers.
Kyiv authorities will spend over UAH 500 million to repair 1,750 meters of road.
Also, in Kyiv, highway repairs worth UAH 1.3 billion are being delayed.
