According to the investigation, after the beginning of the full-scale aggression of the Russian Federation, the suspect, occupying a managerial position, took actions aimed at the violent seizure of state power and the seizure of the building of the state authority.
Using his official position, he organized illegal actions with the aim of removing the head of the Kharkiv regional state (military) administration from exercising his powers, as well as misinformed his subordinates and initiated the dissemination of known false information, which could lead to destabilization of the situation in the front-line region.
The specified actions were committed during a special period of martial law and created a real threat to the continuous functioning of the state authorities and the defense system of Ukraine.
Currently, the issue of selecting a preventive measure in the form of detention for the suspect is being resolved.
If found guilty, he faces up to 10 years in prison with confiscation of property.
