The Qualification and Disciplinary Commission of prosecutors was held disciplinary and dismissed Alexander Terletsky, the prosecutor of the district prosecutor’s office of Khmelnytsky. The reason was that he ignored the calls for the examination to confirm his second disability group.
About it reports “Glavcom” with reference to the decision of the commission of September 10.
Terletsky received an indefinite group II disability in 2019. After a scandal with a large number of disabled prosecutors in Khmelnytskyi, the Prosecutor General’s Office appealed to the Ukrainian Research Institute of Medical and Social Issues of Disability to check his health. The prosecutor twice, in December 2024 and January 2025, ignored the calls to the medical facility.
His lawyer explained that Terletsky was afraid of cancellation of a disability group if he was examined.
In addition, the commission received information from the Khmelnytsky City Center and JV, according to which Terletsky is recognized as in military service. The army did not have data on his second disability group.
The commission concluded that the prosecutor’s behavior is ethically unacceptable But it may indicate abuse or official negligence. His actions are also discredited by the prosecutor’s office, undermining the trust of society.
Terletsky has the right to appeal the decision of the commission within a month.
As of September 16, 57 prosecutors who had disability status were released from the prosecutor’s office.
We will remind, 348 prosecutors with the status of disability will check the disciplinary commission.
