US President Joe Biden instructed to make all possible efforts to provide Ukraine with all the necessary assistance, including military aid, to support it on its way to victory.
This became known from an interview with Michael Carpenter, director for Europe at the US National Security Council.
Carpenter noted that Biden aims to put Ukraine in the strongest position by the end of his presidential term and instructed his staff to provide maximum support. This applies to both military aid and energy security, which was included in the April supplemental funding bill.
While Biden’s final reaction to Volodymyr Zelenskyi’s upcoming victory plan next week remains unknown, Biden continues active discussions about providing Ukraine with long-range weapons that can be used to attack deep into Russian territory.
