Disability pension is assigned to people who have completely or partially lost their ability to work. To apply for payments, you need to meet the criteria, and cash assistance can be even higher than 10,000 UAH.
The PFU’s official website states that a person who has no rights to a disability pension does not have a person who has not worked from one year to fifteen years, because he or she should need insurance experience.
Based on these data, the PFU will be able to calculate what age a person could receive. Based on this amount, the further amount of payments is calculated:

Disability pension 1 group – 100%;

Disability pension 2 group – 90%;

Disability pension 3 group – 50%.
These interest is part of the old age pension. For example, if the Ukrainian was charged a pension by age of 3 600 UAH, then with the third group of disability, payments will be half less – 1 800 UAH.
In addition, every Ukrainian serviceman who has become a person with disabilities due to hostilities has the right to pay. Insurance experience does not matter, because only the reason is taken into account. The pension is charged if the disability has come while the person served in the army, within three months after dismissal from service or for a long time, but due to illness during service.
The amount of the pension of servicemen, as well as civilians with disabilities, depends on the group:

The first group is 100%;

the second group – 80%;

The third group is 60%
All percentages are part of the amount of money that every serviceman has.
Disability pension can be assigned to a person in shoulder straps, which has received their status not because of war but being in service. Then, at the first group, the disability pension will be 70%of cash, at the second – 60%, with a third – 40%.
Calculating and calculating the pension, the competent authorities are focused on the minimum allowable amounts.
Verbly with the law, a person who became a person with disabilities because of the war cannot receive less than 16 847 UAH in the presence of the first group, 13 822 – for the second and 9 478 – for the third.
In 2025, updated requirements for insurance experience, which entitled to a pension, began to apply in Ukraine.
