In Ukraine, 41% of employers have already felt the impact of the permission for men 18-22 years of age to cross the border to fill the vacancies, said the head of OLX. Robot Maria Abdullin.
According to her, another 14% of employers partially felt the influence of the resolution, 34% have not noticed changes yet, and 9% were unable to evaluate the effect.
Among the tangible consequences is the increase in the number of dismissals among young workers (59%), the complication of the search for young candidates for vacancies (54%) and a decrease in vacancies (43%).
Some employers were forced to review staffing strategies: 32% began to attract senior candidates more actively, 16% more women. Less than 5% expanded the search for candidates for other regions, searched for employees abroad, launched retraining programs or working with freelancers.
At the same time, 36% of respondents support the government’s resolution on the departure of young men, 33% do not support.
Prior to that, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy assured that the decision has been made to allow men aged 18-22 abroad will not affect the country’s defense capability, but rather contribute to the preservation of young people in Ukraine.
The Cabinet resolution on the permission of the military men aged 18-22 came into force. The Ukrainians have already started to leave.
