In the Kupyan district of the Kharkiv region, the owner of an agricultural enterprise is suspected of aiding the aggressor state. The investigation established that in 2022 the woman voluntarily cooperated with the occupiers and contributed to the export of grain to the Russian Federation.
In June 2022, it received a patent for wholesale grain trade from the so-called “Temporary Civil Administration of Kharkiv Region”.
On its basis, representatives of the Russian Federation provided the suspect with agricultural machinery and fuel and lubricants. Later, the woman concluded a contract for the transportation of grain by rail through the temporarily occupied territory of Kharkiv Oblast and the Russian Federation.
According to witnesses, the suspect engaged employees of her enterprises to work in the fields and in warehouses. During the searches, law enforcement officers seized documentation confirming the transfer of more than 2.3 thousand tons of grain to representatives of the Russian Federation during the 2022 harvest. The total volume of exported crops is still being determined.
The woman was informed of the suspicion under part 2 of Art. 28 and Part 1 of Art. 111-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Currently, the issue of choosing a preventive measure is being resolved.
It will be recalled that the SBU announced suspicions against the heads of two Russian republics.
The SBU and the police also detained seven organizers of mobilization evasion schemes.
