“According to the available information, the vehicle was damaged (tires were cut), and the actions of citizens had signs of organized resistance to the performance of official duties by representatives of the Armed Forces,” – the message reads.
Representatives of law enforcement agencies and law enforcement service arrived at the scene. Priority investigative actions continue, persons of violators are established, and all facts of unlawful behavior are recorded.
In the Khmelnytsky Regional Criminal Code and JV, they emphasized that in accordance with the Criminal Code of Ukraine, in particular Article 114-1 (obstruction of the legitimate activity of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other military formations), similar actions during the legal regime of martial law can be qualified as a state betrayal or other serious crimes against the basics of national security.
The department also warned about criminal liability under Articles 342, 345 and 346 of the Criminal Code – for resistance to law enforcement officers and servicemen, hooliganism, property damage and obstruction of duties.
Citizens were called for immediate termination of any unlawful acts, compliance with the rules of the current legislation of Ukraine and preservation of public order.
