The DBR employees reported the suspicion of the excerpor of the Secretariat of the Commissioner of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for Human Rights, who held a position in 2021. It is probably about Ivan Verveiko.
Due to the official negligence of the exclusive, the state has caused more than UAH 1.6 million, the press service of the department.
According to the investigation, by holding the position of civil service category “A” in 2021, the official did not ensure proper control over compliance with the budget legislation. He concluded a lease of non -residential premises at a cost, which almost twice the average market, without conducting sufficient analysis of market prices and justification.
Thus, in 2021-2022, extra funds were paid from the state budget, and the state caused material damage to the specified amount.
The actions of the former official are qualified as a service negligence, which caused grave consequences. The sanction of the article provides for a sentence of up to 5 years in prison.
According to open sources, in 2021 the head of the Secretariat of the Commissioner of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for Human Rights was occupied by Ivan Verveiko. He was probably suspected.
Earlier, Kyiv prosecutors reported suspicion of the former Director General of Kyivzelenbud, the Chief Agronae Service for Control over the condition of green spaces and the director of the contracting company in the waste of almost UAH 4.9 million allocated for the elimination of ragweed in the capital.
