According to him, during 2025, 1182 appeals were received, which now conduct 420 state control measures, that is, show signs of violation of the legislation.
“For this year, I personally considered 252 cases of administrative offenses. He made 57 fines. On average, it is 3400 UAH. Of course, there were repeated 134 warnings. About 200 000 UAH was paid by violators to local budgets, ”the official said.
According to Kremin, there are no less violations of language legislation in Ukraine, since new online resources are constantly emerging and new language scandals emerge.
The Ombudsman also noted that in 80% of cases after appeals to citizens for violation of the law, the situation is corrected. This, in particular, applies to service, outdoor advertising and education, information about goods and services.
“That is, for example, if the sign was a non -state language, it changes to Ukrainian – and there is a situation closing,” Kremin explained.
Recently, a petition appeared on the Cabinet of Ministers’ website on the dismissal of Taras Kremin’s Ombudsman and the Creation of Language Police.
