The UK Prime Minister Kir Starmer will present Donald Trump Plan about 30,000 European servicemen in Ukraine to monitor the ceasefire.

Western officials, familiar with details, say that the British prime minister intends to persuade Trump to keep American fighters and missiles in combat readiness in Eastern Europe to promptly respond in the event of a ceasefire.

The Telegraph notes that this plan is significantly inferior to a 200,000-strong peacekeeping mission previously offered by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy. However, Germany, Spain and Italy do not support the sending of large military contingents, which limits Europe’s capabilities.
