According to the information resource, since the beginning of 2025 the Russian occupation authorities have completely stopped payment of monthly pension provision to persons who have not received the Russian passport. The decision directly applies to the inhabitants of the occupied east and south of Ukraine.
“Pension blackmail is a shameful financial pressure that has become another step in forced certification, which the Kremlin criminals are actively conducting over the local population of all temporarily occupied territories,” the statement said.
The CNS noted that by issuing passports of the Russian Federation, the invaders pursue the main goal – to represent residents of the occupied territories as “citizens of Russia”, to justify their crimes before the international community.
“Including the invaders illegally access the personal data of the local population to strengthen control and suppress the resistance of the Ukrainian underground,” the CNS added.
The information resource stressed that such measures of the Kremlin are another proof of criminal policy, which is aimed at depriving Ukrainians of their rights and freedoms.
