Russian troops advanced near eight settlements in the Donetsk region, the analytical project DeepState reported on the night of Monday, January 13.
It is noted that the occupiers advanced in Chasovoy Yar, Toretsk, Yantarny and Novovasylivka.
Analysts also announced the advance of the Russian army near Elizavetivka, Zeleny, Zvirovoy and Kotlyny.
What is known about the situation at the front in the Donetsk region
On January 1, DeepState wrote about the chaotic tactical situation in Novovasylivka near Pokrovsk, where the enemy is present in virtually every corner of the village, as well as the Defense Forces.
On January 2, Khortytsia OSU spokesman Viktor Tregubov assured that Ukrainian servicemen control almost all of Chasiv Yar.
On January 3, DeepState announced the advance of the Russians near five settlements and the occupation of three — Dachensky, Novy Trud and Vovkovo in Donetsk region.
On January 6, DeepState noted that the occupiers advanced in Toretsk, Zeleny, Petropavlivka, as well as near Vozdvizhenka, Baranivka, and Pischany in the Donetsk region.
January 8 Institute for the study of war (ISW) wrote that Russian troops recently advanced in the northwestern part of the city of Toretsk and reached the administrative border of the city in one of the districts after several weeks of more intensive Russian offensive operations in the area.
On January 11, DeepState announced that Russian troops had completely occupied the city of Kurakhove. At the same time, Khortytsia OSU spokesman Viktor Tregubov noted that the Ukrainian military is holding positions within Kurakhovo, so it is too early to talk about the complete capture of the city by the Russian invaders.
