The Center for countering disinformation at the National Security Council denied reports that the Secretary of the National Security Council Rustem Umyerov allegedly left Ukraine and refuses to return.
The department stated that this information is false.
Umerov is on a planned official business trip to the USA, where he holds consultations and meetings aimed at strengthening international support for Ukraine. The CPD emphasized that he remains in constant working contact with the state leadership and fulfills all the assigned tasks.
The National Security Council urged not to spread unverified messages that could benefit enemy information operations.
We will remind that on November 12, the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Rustem Umyerov visited Turkey, where he held a number of meetings with high-ranking officials, in particular with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hakan Fidan. The main topic of the negotiations was the resumption of the exchange of prisoners of war.
