The internal inspection of the police of the Lviv region is conducting a review of the actions of law enforcement officers during the incident with the beating of the artists of the national song and dance ensemble “Hutsuliya” in Sheptytskyi.
This was reported to Ukrinform by the National Police Directorate in Lviv Region.
“Our inspectorate is currently checking the actions of law enforcement officers there. She does it because they (Sheptytskyi police – ed.) don’t have their own,” the press service noted.
The incident took place on the territory of the gas station in the city of Sheptytskyi on the night of December 7, when youths beat the artists of the “Hutsuliya” ensemble, who were returning from abroad. The published video shows how aggressive young people behave defiantly towards the members of the ensemble, as well as towards the representatives of the Security Police who arrived at the scene. At the same time, it is not possible to draw conclusions from the video about any active actions of law enforcement officers against violators.
Earlier, a scandalous situation occurred in Slupsk, Poland: a construction school teacher systematically insulted students from Ukraine, and during one incident, Ukrainian students were beaten by Polish classmates.
