Ukrainian law enforcement officers received 2.5 thousand bulletproof vests and helmets with additional protection with the support of the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Ukraine and the Global Fund for Security Sector Reform.

NPU deputy chairman Gennady Fedoryuk noted continuous support from the Federal Government of Germany, which is implemented through German partners, in particular, with the assistance of the Global Fund for Security Sector.
“Last year, we have already received women’s bulletproof vests for our colleagues, who will also defend Ukraine and provide law and order. In total, we received 2569 VI armor vests with additional protection and helmets totaling more than three million euros. This is important to us for our police officers who are directly involved in the country’s protection, ”he said.
Among the property transferred by international partners are modern helmets and 1811 kits of male and 785 bulletproof vests for women of VI class. The whole ammunition provided meets the requirements of the standard according to NIJ, that is, it additionally protects the neck, shoulders and arms.
Ammunition will be transferred to provide police units that are actively involved in hostilities.
The head of the project Ukraine GS-FOUundation Sebastian Kvik assured the desire to continue helping Ukraine, which protects Europe. T. at. Roman Polishchuk, the head of the united assault brigade of the NPU “Lyuta”, gave him a sign of the brigade as a sign of gratitude.
