The National Police of Ukraine conducts a large -scale special operation aimed at eliminating organized drug business.
Within this operation, law enforcement officers carry out more than 200 searches in different regions of the country.
The main purpose is to identify and document the facts of drug manufacture and marketing on an industrial scale, as well as the elimination of drug laboratories and warehouses, where “goods” are stored and packed-alpha-PVP, amphetamine and Mephedron are among the seized substances.
During investigative actions, police focus on exposing criminal groups that have established the production of psychotropic substances and organized their distribution not only in Ukraine but also abroad.
It is known that law enforcement officers have already detained drug dealers whose business has brought millions of profits a month.
For example, in the Odessa region alone, a group that received more than UAH 2 million was exposed last year, and psychotropes were supplied even to temporarily occupied territories and EU countries.
Police do not reveal all the details of the current operation, referring to the secret of the investigation.
At the same time, it is known that such special parcels have already led to the elimination of whole drug cards, the removal of a large number of drugs, cash and property, as well as the detention of organizers and performers of criminal schemes.
In the Cherkasy region, at the end of last year, it was possible to dispose of a group that was engaged in the production and sale of large parties of heavy psychotropic substances.
