Lazutkin recalled the terms of payments on the contract: the first payment is 200 thousand hryvnias, then volunteers receive 300 thousand after the preparation and start of the combat missions.
The completion of the contract guarantees the payment of UAH 500 thousand. These incentives contribute to the involvement of new participants in the service that is important for the country’s defense.
A few days after the announcement of a new annual contract for youth 18-24 years, about ten thousand men have expressed a desire to join the army.
The number of appeals in the mobile application “Reserve+” regarding the conclusion of the annual “motivational contract” for service in the army for volunteers aged 18 to 24 years has already exceeded the mark of 10 thousand. We will remind, in Ukraine the contract of 18-24 started, which enables citizens from 18 to 24 years to sign a voluntary annual contract and join the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Volunteers provided benefits and payments. In particular, they are promised a financial reward of 1 million hryvnias, zero mortgage, free training and medical care. In addition, the soldiers will be prepared by NATO standards and will allow you to travel abroad after 1 year of service.
The Defense Ministry also told what positions they will be able to occupy 18-24-year-old volunteers in the army. They will only serve in combat positions that are at risk. These are the positions of shooter, grenade launcher, scout.
However, those who already serve will not be able to take advantage of the contract 24. The Cabinet resolution does not provide for the transition of existing servicemen for 18-24 years to a “motivational contract” for young people.
