Since March 2025, Ukrainians have received more than 550,000 permits for registered weapons through the Diya electronic platform, testifying to the success in reforming the process of weapons circulation in Ukraine.
By data The Ministries of the Interior implemented digital solutions that started in June 2023, which contributed to increased transparency in this area, which became an important stage in the digitalization of public services.
Within the framework of the new system, since its launch, about 190,000 statements have been generated and more than 12,000 applications for permission have been submitted, as well as approximately 2,500 insurance contracts have been drawn up.
During the year of operation of the system, 13,600 people registered more than 15,000 firearms and more than 8 million rounds of ammunition, which indicates the active involvement of citizens in this process.
In the future, due to the new functions of the mobile application, Ukrainians will be able to receive notifications about who viewed their data in the registers. The innovation will help increase security, and a system of monitoring access to information will be implemented, supported by government regulations.

Diya will also spend UAH 228 million on artificial intelligence equipment.
In Kyiv and five oblasts, DRATS services on the Diya portal will be temporarily suspended. This is connected with the reorganization in the departments of these regions.
