The Ministry of Justice has blocked and pulled assets of oligarchs and collaborators in favor of the state

Since May 2022, the Decrees of the President of Ukraine put into force 110 decisions of the National Security and Defense Council on the application and change of personal special economic and other restrictive measures. Since May 2022, the Decrees of the President of Ukraine put into force 110 decisions of the National Security and Defense Council on the application and change of personal special economic and other restrictive measures.

According to the Ministry of Justice, about 17,800 people were applied, of which about 15,000 were applied in the form of asset blocking.

“We identify and search for the assets of persons on whom the sanction is imposed, we check the grounds for the use of sanctions in the form of recovery of assets in the state income,” – said Olena Vakulenko, director of the Department of Public Policy and Representation in the courts of the Ministry of Justice.

Within this work, the Ministry of Justice has sent more than 22,000 requests and worked out almost 18,000 answers. The court has filed 79 claims for recovery of assets of sub -state income.

As of today, 72 cases have been made in 72 cases, and 7 more cases are under consideration of first instance. According to the decisions of the Supreme Anti -Corruption Court and the Appeal Chamber of VACS, which have entered into force, up to 87 persons were sanctioned in the form of asset recovery.

It is, in particular, assets belonging to Russian oligarchs, deputies, collaborators and companies related to the military-industrial complex “of the Russian Federation”.

Ministry Justice filed To the Supreme Anti -Corruption Court (VAKS) a claim for confiscation of 52.76% of shares belong Russian businessman Sergei Kabargin.
