The Ministry of Justice has submitted a second lawsuit to the High Anti-Corruption Court to impose sanctions on ex-People’s Deputy of Ukraine Vyacheslav Boguslaev in the form of confiscation of the property he owns, namely real estate and 100% share in the authorized capital of INNOVA LLC.

“On September 17, 2024, the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine submitted a second lawsuit to the High Anti-Corruption Court regarding the application of the sanction provided for in Clause 1-1 of Part 1 of Article 4 of the Law of Ukraine “On Sanctions” against Boguslaev Vyacheslav Oleksandrovych,” the message reads.

The ministry reminds that on April 18, 2024, the VAKS adopted a decision by which the administrative claim of the Ministry of Justice was satisfied and the sanction provided for in Clause 1-1 of the first part of Article 4 of the Law of Ukraine “On Sanctions” was applied to Boguslaev and the assets were charged to the state income, namely :
- 14 objects of real estate in the Zaporizhzhia region (in particular, residential buildings, land plots, a garage, fish farm “Kosa Obitochna”, administrative buildings);
- property rights to trademarks (and property rights to patents and industrial designs (2);
- shares in the authorized capital of 6 legal entities;
- 339 firearms; funds placed on bank accounts.
Thus, on June 25, 2024, the Appeals Chamber of the VAKS adopted a resolution that left the VAKS decision of April 18, 2024 unchanged.
“The Ministry of Justice of Ukraine has declared the property used by V.O. Boguslaev to be confiscated. owns directly. In particular, the object of real estate and 100% share in the authorized capital of INNOVA LLC,” the ministry explained.
As reported, on April 18, 2024, the High Anti-Corruption Court satisfied the Ministry of Justice’s claim to apply a sanction in the form of confiscation of the assets of the ex-president of JSC “Motor Sich” Vyacheslav Boguslaev and the former top manager of the company Petro Kononenko.
On October 23, 2022, Boguslaev and the head of the foreign economic activity department of Motor Sichi were detained by the SBU on suspicion of collaboration and aiding and abetting the Russian Federation.
The detention took place within the framework of criminal proceedings on the illegal supply by Motor Sichi of military goods for Russian attack aircraft. According to the investigation, the officials established transnational channels for the illegal supply of wholesale batches of aircraft engines to Russia. The resulting products were used by the invaders for the production and repair of attack helicopters.
Earlier, we wrote that the assets belonging to Vyacheslav Boguslaev and Pyotr Kononenko were transferred to the State Property Fund for management. Among them are Motor Bank and Vinnytsia Aviation Plant.
