The Ministry of Internal Affairs removed six officials of the head of logistics of the Main Directorate of the National Guard. On May 9 and 10, NABU searches them.
This was reported in the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The Office has appointed an official investigation and provides full assistance to the investigation.
According to sources, NABU detectives came home to:
- Commander of the National Guard General Alexander Pivnenko;
- Director of the Department of Logistics of the State Technical University of NSU Colonel Sergei Gritsenko;
- Director of the Department of Logistics of the State Technical University of NSU Colonel Mykola Modlinsky;
- Deputy Director of the Logistics Department – Head of the Department of Automobile and Armored Technology of the State Security Service of NSU Colonel Alexander Kalatynets;
- Head of the Department of Colonel Denis Hanaz;
- Head of the central base of production and technological configuration of NSU Colonel Vladimir Fedorovsky.
The searches were also conducted in the office premises of the central base of providing the GU NSU.
The investigation is conducted under three articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine:
- Part 5 of Art. 191 – appropriation, misappropriation of property or seizure by abuse of office;
- Part 3 of Art. 209 – legalization (laundering) of proceeds of crime;
- Part 3 and Part 4 of Art. 368 – acceptance of a proposal, promise or obeyment of an illegal benefit by an official.
We wrote that NABU is searched for the second day in a row in the General Directorate of the National Guard of Ukraine. Investigative actions are underway in the case of tenders and abuse of influence, theft of almost UAH 200 million.
Earlier, NABU and SAP were sent to court with a case of fraud during the trade of arrested property transferred to the National Agency of Ukraine for the detection, search and management of assets obtained from corruption and other crimes (ARMA). Among the scheme of 11 persons involved in the scheme, in particular, the head of the organized criminal group (OZG), the exclusive of SE “Setam” (2016-2020), the former ARMA head (2016-2019) and the head of the department of assets of the central apparatus of the ARMA (2018-2020).
We will remind, recently the panel of judges of the Supreme Anti-Corruption Court began consideration on the merits of the former first Viceremier-Minister of Ukraine on the seizure and waste of budget funds in the amount of almost UAH 200 million.
