The Minister of Health Viktor Lyashko told this on Facebook.
“Following negotiations with Ukrainian manufacturers, we managed to reach an agreement to reduce prices by more than 200 medicines. Half of them have already been reduced, as for the rest of the drugs – the decrease will begin during April, ”Lyashko said.
According to him, the average discount is 17%, and the range varies largely from 10%to more than 60%, depending on the specific drug.
The list of drugs to which the discount will be published by the Ministry of Health.
The new list includes drugs for the treatment of cardiovascular disease, SARS, respiratory diseases, nervous and endocrine systems, as well as dermatological and gastrointestinal pathologies, antipyretic.
“We continue the dialogue with drug manufacturers to expand the list of drugs available at reduced prices. We also work on pricing transparency and honest competition in the pharmaceutical market so that every patient can receive medicines at a fair price, ”the minister wrote.
Recall that from March 1 there was a decrease in prices by 30% per 100 most popular drugs. However, the State Consumer Service received 1156 complaints that pharmacies did not reduce prices. As a result of inspections, 213 of them were already fined.
