The Ministry of Defense has launched a licensed production of FPV-iots in Ukraine. It began to release their own FPV-pates on the basis of a state-owned enterprise at the end of last year.

The pilot project for the production of codified FPV-oules began in December last year. Licensing permission to produce UAVs on the basis of one of the state -owned enterprises was granted a private developer, under the Tripartite Agreement. The capacities belong to the area of management of the Ministry of Defense.
Produced products will be supplied by the units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine, and after working out the technology of production and its scaling the company will be able to participate independently in the tenders of the Defense Procurement Agency and other potential customers.
“Thanks to the integration of the state into production chains, we have gained a clear understanding of the cost of production of drones and our competitive advantages in this market. This will improve the quality of finished products at the expense of constant competition, ”-said the First Deputy Minister of Defense Lieutenant General Ivan Gavriluk.
Specialists of the Main Directorate of Defense Innovation have already worked out a road map on the organization of similar industries together with other developers of unmanned aviation complexes, he said. Due to this, the MO hopes to significantly increase production capacity to scale weapons production.
Currently, about 34% of all weapons in Ukraine – domestic production, the rest is supplied by Europe and the United States. Previously, 10% of weapons were Ukrainian, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported.
Since the beginning of a full -scale war, the production of domestic weapons in Ukraine has increased significantly, but the country continues to support the European Union (EU) and the United States of America (USA).
