The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has replenished the “DotChain Defense” arms marketplace with interceptor drones — special drones that effectively fight enemy reconnaissance and attack UAVs.
Defense Minister Denys Shmyhal announced this on Facebook.
These drones enhance the tactical level of air defense, which is critical to protecting against front-line threats.
Now military units are able to independently order the necessary equipment without additional approvals, processing purchases with state funds through a special IT platform. This ensures the principle of autonomy and trust in providing the army with modern means of protection.
Drones from three Ukrainian manufacturers are already presented on the marketplace, and three more new models will be contracted in the near future.
This development of the “DotChain Defense” platform will allow to significantly increase the efficiency and effectiveness of equipment supplies for the needs of the Armed Forces.
It will be recalled that the Ministry of Defense codified and launched Ukrainian anti-drone ammunition into mass production.
Also, the Ministry of Defense is preparing contracts for the military with a postponement of mobilization.
