The Minister of Culture and Strategic Communications, Mykola Tochytskyi, said this in an interview with “Karpyak na Suspilny”.
“It will be a conference at the level of ministers of culture, which will take place in early February. We will talk about our cultural heritage, about our problems, how we respond to them and what kind of help we need,” said Tochytskyi.
According to him, the issue of preservation of Ukrainian cultural artifacts will be discussed during the event.
He noted that thanks to the support of partners from Poland, Denmark, the USA and Italy, it is possible to work on the exhibition of artifacts that have already been preserved. It is about more than 520,000 objects removed from the front-line zones.
“Cultural Rammstein will be a continuation of the efforts made last year in Vilnius, when we talked about preserving the cultural heritage of Ukraine and our European colleagues quite rightly raised this issue with us. In addition, we discussed this issue in Naples last year with the ministers of culture of the G7 countries,” the minister said.
It will be recalled that on November 19, in his speech in the Verkhovna Rada, President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that one of the important points of the Internal Stability Plan of Ukraine is the provision of cultural sovereignty. For this purpose, it is proposed to create the format of a cultural Ramstein — a broad coalition that will unite experts and cultural figures to update the country’s cultural policy.
The internal stability plan of Ukraine is interconnected with the victory plan. One of his points is the politics of heroes, Zelenskyy said earlier.
