According to the agency, Ukrenergo specialists are currently working on eliminating the consequences of the shelling that took place on November 17.
“Ladyzhynska TPP work has been stopped, rubble and damaged equipment are being dismantled. The complete blackout of the station led to a lack of electricity supply in 430 settlements. As a result of the operational response of JSC “Vinnytsiaoblenergo”, under the reserve scheme, the power-deprived settlements, which are about 222,000 inhabitants, were restored,” said the deputy head of the OVA, Oleksandr Pishchyk.
Later, it became known that due to the consequences of the Russian shelling, the city switched to an alternative heat supply system. According to the head of Ladyzhyn, Oleksandr Kolomiyets, solid fuel and gas boilers operate in the city, as well as boilers of the city hospital. In case of possible power outages, all these sources are equipped with generators. There are also points of indomitability in the community.
During the war, the Ladyzhyn Thermal Power Station was repeatedly the target of Russian strikes.
On November 17, the Russian invaders attacked Ukraine – they launched about 120 missiles and 90 drones. Air defense forces destroyed 140 out of 210 air targets.
As a result of enemy rocket fire on November 17, the academic rowing base of the Ladyzhynska DYUSSh No. 2 in Vinnytsia was completely destroyed.
