According to the sociologist, it is too early to speak about the duration of the current situation around the flag, when the trust in Zelensky has increased significantly since the beginning of 2025.
Antipovich said that with the beginning of the war, this trust grew very much and was almost 90%, but it gradually fell.
“As a result, at the bottom she stopped at different levels, about 50%, about 70% and then began to climb again through some events,” he said.
In particular, the counter-offensive raised in 2023, because trust has already begun to fall. “And here we started, at least in the media, a counter -offensive, and trust has grown again,” the sociologist said.
“Then she began to fall again – and the Kursk operation is taking place. There was a splash again: here, we can, we gave them my teeth…. Again, there was a certain increase in trust, which then began to fall, ”he said.
According to him, it goes waves, depending on events.
“In December 2024, in January this year, the survey really showed about 52-54% of confidence in Zelensky. Then we have this oval office. And immediately the attitude to the authorities, in particular to the President of Zelensky, was very significantly improved, ”he added.
He noted that the trust in Zelensky did not immediately fly to heaven again, but from 52-54% it rose to 60-67%. “And as we see in April-May, we have such stable 70%. To further improve, of course, we need new circumstances, new conditions, new information, then it will grow, ”Antipovich said.
Therefore, the attitude towards Zelensky depends on the events on the front, depends on the circumstances in the country, depends on the international arena, the sociologist said.
It should be reminded that the recent KIIS survey showed that the rating of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky continues to grow. At the same time, almost all other politicians lose confidence.
Another survey has shown that the vast majority of Ukrainians continue to believe that the election is impossible to complete the war and the conclusion of a peace agreement.
