The higher anti-corruption court decided to seize the property of People’s Deputy Yulia Tymoshenko, but did not fully satisfy the prosecution’s request.
Judge Vitaly Dubas announced this during the meeting.
“The court ruled: to partially satisfy the petition,” the judge said.
Previously, Tymoshenko did not plan to contribute personal funds to the bail set by the court, and a part of the total amount has already been contributed. The prosecution insisted on a larger seizure of property, but the court decided to limit itself to partial satisfaction of the request.
It will be recalled that Yulia Tymoshenko, a people’s deputy and leader of the “Fatherland” party, confirmed that she does not plan to contribute her own funds to the bail of UAH 33.28 million, which was determined for her by the Higher Anti-Corruption Court.
Yulia Tymoshenko is under trial in a case involving alleged bribery of people’s deputies.
