The investigation established that in July of this year, the official was approached by a businessman engaged in forest harvesting. He suggested setting up wood processing in a workshop on the territory of one of the correctional institutions of the Lviv Region.

The official allowed the entrepreneur to be able to use the facilities of the workshop and use the labor of convicts, but for this he had to pay from 70 to 100 euros for each cubic meter of processed wood.

“Subscription fee” from July to September amounted to more than 2 thousand euros.
