This was announced by Prime Minister Yulia Svyridenko.
Svyridenko reminded that the enemy cynically attacked Kyiv and the region, Sumy, Chernihiv and Kharkiv regions, including using ballistic missiles. More than 30 people were injured in Kharkiv, one death and two injuries were recorded in Kyiv as a result of attacks on civil infrastructure and energy.
“Rescuers, energy workers and utility workers are continuously working on the ground for recovery. The government is doing everything to return light and heat to people as soon as possible. In particular, we are promptly restoring the damaged generation, we have increased imports as much as possible, we are introducing new alternative capacities,” the premier noted.
Special attention is paid to people with reduced mobility and houses where heat supply has not been restored for a long time. “Ministries and all services are working to support them. Local government should be no less active,” Svyridenko emphasized.
