First Deputy Prime Minister Yulia Svyridenko reported that December 16 and 17 are the last days for submitting applications for assistance in the amount of 6,500 hryvnias for vulnerable categories of the population.
About this Svyridenko reminded in a telegram.
To date, more than 410,000 people have already issued such a payment, and more than 272,000 citizens have already received the funds. You can use this assistance within six months to buy clothes, shoes or medicines.
At the same time, the country is running a 1,000 hryvnia payment program, for which more than 17 million Ukrainians have already applied, including 3.3 million applications for payments to children through the Diya application. The money has already arrived in the accounts of 13 million citizens, who can spend it until the end of June next year on communal services, Ukrainian goods, books or charity. For those applying through Ukrposhta, the deadline for using funds has been extended until the end of February 2026, and since last week, the list of possibilities has been expanded to include grocery chains.
Citizens can apply for 1,000 hryvnias until December 24. The government continues to ensure the stability of social benefits, despite the challenges posed by the Russian aggression against Ukraine. All digital services work as usual, allowing Ukrainians to quickly issue state support through mobile devices or post offices.
As a reminder, more than 150,000 Ukrainians have already submitted applications for the payment of UAH 6,500 “Winter Support”.
The number of applications for payment of 1,000 hryvnias within the framework of the “Winter Support” program has already exceeded the expected amount of payments by 55%. In total, more than 17 million Ukrainians applied for assistance.
