The Cabinet of Ministers approved a resolution that normalizes the mechanism of aiming medical evacuation of servicemen wounded as a result of Russia’s armed aggression.

The new approach allows you to transport hard -to -leave directly to medical facilities that have the necessary equipment and specialists to provide emergency care. The Ministry of Health emphasizes that this will reduce the delivery time to the hospital, reduce the risk of complications and increase the chances of recovery.
Previously, this practice was used only by separate units by preliminary agreements with medical institutions. From now on, it extends to the entire medical care system.
Evacuation will be carried out to cluster and superclaimed hospitals of the state system, as well as to private clinics that will agree to participate in the program. The choice of a particular medical institution will be based on the availability of free beds and the ability to provide specialized assistance.
The evacuation decisions will be made by military doctors at the stage of pre -hospital assistance. The process will be coordinated by the State Institution “Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Center for Emergency Medical Assistance and Medicine of the Department of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine”.
This step aims to minimize losses and provide hard -wounded military personnel at the highest level.
